Sea

I am at home at the Sea. Swimming across the Bay, kayaking Burrard Inlet, sailing the Gulf Islands or simply absorbed by the in-out of waves while perched on a log. The ocean is where I find my center. Not surprising, seascapes have been an enduring subject for my art. From ‘early works’, to left handed canvases (painted when my right hand was out of commission), to more recent inspirations, the energy of each piece is as varied as the size – perhaps an unconscious reflection of the ever changing seascape vistas.

The Sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.
